Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge NOVOTEST UT-1M-ST is designed for measuring the thickness of various materials and products with one-sided access. Thickness gauge is also used to measure the thickness of various products from all kinds of plastics, polymers, glasses. NOVOTEST UT-1M-ST is a special version of the ultrasonic thickness gauge NOVOTEST UT-1M, it has metal housing (body), which provide additional safety for the electronic unit, so there are more chances that it is not be damaged in circumstances, where the device with classic plastic case will be broken.

 

The device complies with ASTM E797 Standard Practice for Measuring Thickness by Manual Ultrasonic Pulse-Echo Contact Method.

 

It has Echo-Echo mode. Using special Echo-Echo mode, it allows to measure thickness of metals, through paint coatings (up to 1mm).
