Vibration Meter Pen NOVOTEST NVS P1 description:

Purpose of the Vibration meter

Vibration meter NVS P1 is designed for operational diagnostics of equipment with rotating machinery (compressors, fans, turbines, pumps, generators, etc.). This device making able even to an inexperienced user to make a conclusion about the state of the controlled object by evaluating the vibration parameters.

The framework has combined the analyzer and the probe in a single robust and compact body, which makes it convenient and simple in everyday use. The vibrometer is controlled by two buttons – ON / START and a button for selecting the measured PARAMETER, the device does not require preliminary calibration, the instant results of vibration parameters make this device compatible for many industries and application area.

Measuring the following parameters by Vibration Meter Pen NOVOTEST :

Vibration acceleration– a parameter that characterized the intensity of vibration, as a consequence of dynamic mechanisms interaction’s-controlled equipment. There is the peak is measured (maximum value by modulus). Device’s parameter are initial where the probe (accelerometer) measuring the machinery acceleration with high accuracy. Are being indispensable to control the impact nature of the dynamic elements defects  at gearboxes, rolling bearings, etc.

Vibration velocity– a parameter that simultaneously takes into account the movement of the point at which the control is carried out along the measurement axis and the vibrations frequency. It has been the most widely used parameter in vibration diagnostics.  This parameter evaluates the power of the vibration process, and characterizes the energy of the dynamic impact on the elements of the unit. It is customary to evaluate the vibration velocity in the form of the root-mean-square value (RMS) essence of which is to assess the conformity of the energy impact on the supports of the units with the actual vibration signal and the normal constant, which is equal in magnitude to the RMS.

Vibration displacement– a characterized parameter of the distance from two extreme points along the measurement axis, i.e.  physical point movement on a controlled surface as a result of produced vibration. Usually used at low-frequency vibrations. Estimated as a swing and has been measured in linear units (μm, mm, etc.)
