Pencil-Type probe for coating thickness gauge is designed for precise measuring the thickness of electroplated (zinc, chrome) and dielectric (lacquer, paint, polymers, etc.) non-magnetic coatings on small steel parts. This probe provides high accuracy even on thin coatings, making it ideal for industrial applications, construction, and laboratory research.
Recommended use: this specialized probe is designed for measuring the thickness of zinc, chrome, and other electroplated coatings on fasteners and other parts with dimensions of just a few millimeters or less. If the objects being measured are not as small, we recommend using the F-0.5 probe, which is more convenient to use and has a slightly wider measurement range.
