The strength meter is an Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) tester that detects defects in concrete and solid materials by analyzing the propagation of ultrasonic waves. It measures parameters such as strength, density, elastic modulus, and sound index.
Probe is designed to operate with Strength meter NOVOTEST IPSM and Ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) testers (some other brands) for finding defects in concrete products, bricks and other solid materials based on the analysis of the propagation of ultrasonic waves in the material.
Additionally various probes allows to measure different parameters of concrete products such as density, strength, elastic modulus, sound index and other parameters that correlate with a propagation of ultrasound in the material.
Through sounding probes is designed to assess the internal quality and homogeneity of a material by measuring the ultrasonic pulse velocity through the entire thickness of the material.
The concrete rebound hammer (sclerometer) tests the strength of concrete and other building materials by impacting a plunger on the surface and measuring the height of the rebound, which is proportional to the material’s strength and can be interpreted using supplied calibration charts.
The anvil is specifically designed for verifying the technical characteristics of concrete rebound hammer after every 1,000 impacts or once every three months.
