A precision measuring comb with a quadrangular and hexagonal shape, crafted from high-quality stainless steel that resists corrosion from acidic or alkaline substances.Wet film thickness gauges are designed to determine the thickness of coatings right after they have been applied to a surface.

The gauge features a series of notches along its edges, resembling the teeth of a comb. It can measure the wet film thickness of various coatings, such as paints, resins, lacquers, varnishes, gels, and more. Operation: 1) position the gauge at a 90° angle to the coated surface 2) ensure the gauge is in full contact with the surface 3) lift the gauge straight up 4) Examine the teeth of the gauge. The wet film thickness is between the highest tooth that has a coating on it and the next smallest tooth that remains dry.
