NOVOTEST Lab is now available for iOS!

We continue to develop the NOVOTEST Lab ecosystem and make working with NOVOTEST measuring instruments even more convenient.

Previously, the NOVOTEST Lab mobile application was available for Android devices. We are now pleased to announce the release of the iOS version — the application is already available for download from the Apple App Store.

iPhone users can now connect compatible NOVOTEST instruments to their smartphones, receive measurement results, analyze data, save additional information about the tested object, and generate reports directly in the mobile application.

Measurements and measurement series

NOVOTEST Lab displays measurement results on the smartphone screen and makes it easy to work with series of measurements.

Depending on the connected instrument, the user can select the material, measurement scale, and required parameters, while the results are displayed immediately in the application interface.

The large and easy-to-read measurement value makes it convenient to use the smartphone directly during testing.

Result analysis

NOVOTEST Lab allows users not only to obtain measurement results, but also to analyze them in different formats.

The application provides access to measurement history, key statistical values, graphs, and tabular presentation of results.

This makes it possible to quickly evaluate the stability of a measurement series, compare obtained values, and use the data for further reporting.

Linking results to the tested object

One of the useful features of NOVOTEST Lab is the ability to work with photos of the tested object.

The user can take a photo directly during testing and place markers with measurement results on the image.

This approach makes it possible to save not only the measured values, but also the exact location where each individual measurement was taken.

This is especially useful when testing large parts, welded joints, structures, and objects with multiple measurement areas.

Instrument data and geolocation

Each record can include information about the connected instrument, as well as the date and time of measurement.

If required, the geolocation of the tested object can also be added to the record.

This is especially useful for field measurements, inspections of multiple objects, or work at several different sites.

Photos, video, audio, and notes

Additional information can be attached to measurement results for more complete documentation of the inspection process.

NOVOTEST Lab allows users to save photos and videos of the tested object, add text notes, and record audio comments.

This means that, together with numerical measurement results, the user can save all relevant information about the object and the testing conditions.

Measurement report generation

Saved data can be used to generate measurement reports.

The report can include information about the tested object, the instrument, the measurement series, statistical values, and the measurement results themselves.

This makes it possible to quickly prepare a document with inspection results for archiving, sharing with colleagues, or providing to the customer.

NOVOTEST Lab for Android and iOS

With the release of the iOS version, the NOVOTEST Lab application is now available on both major mobile platforms — Android and iOS.

This allows even more NOVOTEST instrument users to use their smartphones as a complete tool for obtaining, analyzing, documenting, and storing measurement results.
